2018 March 16th Kym Atwell’s Retirement Dinner

A reception was held on the 16th March 2018 at the Maylands Hotel to mark the end of an era as Kym Atwell retires from the position of Drum Major of The Pipes & Drums of The Royal Caledonian Society of South Australia. Kym has has been involved with the band for the some 35 years and was the Drum Major leading the band to The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburgh in 2007 & 2011, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Sydney, Australia in 2010, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Melbourne, Australia in 2016, The Basel Tattoo in Switzerland in 2013 and HRH The Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration at Windsor Castle in 2016. Thank you Kym for many years of service to the band.
