Our Vision
The Pipes and Drums of the Royal Caledonian Society of South Australia is a multitiered organisation that regularly travels both nationally and internationally performing and competing. The Band, its members, and leadership, provides an environment of inclusivity and respect, assisting members to reach their musical potential. The Band is financially stable, has effective leadership and identifies and develops future leaders.
Our Mission
- Provide an education in pipe band instruments, exploring music and the pipe band discipline.
- Provide an environment where members can practice and improve their craft to the best of their capability.
- Provide opportunities for performance at the local level and on the world stage.
- Provide an environment for competition at a local and a national level.
- Provide leadership and role modelling in music, dress, and deportment for the pipe band movement in South Australia.
